January, February, and March
- Pre-Spring Step 1:
- Pre-emergent crabgrass weed control
- Post-emergent broadleaf weed control, starter fertilizer (depending on spring warm-up temperatures).
April and May
- Spring Step 2:
- Complete balanced fertilizer for southern turf grass including slow release nitrogen, micro-nutrient supplement.
- Surface insecticide to control fire ants and a large variety of lawn-destroying insects.
June and July
- Summer Step 3:
- Complete balanced fertilizer feeding, plus micronutrients.
- Surface insecticide for the active insect season.
August and September
- Late Summer Step 4:
- Micro-nutrient feeding
- Balanced fertilization
- Broadleaf weed control (as needed)
- Surface insect control
October and November
- Fall and Early Winter Step 5:
- Organic conditioning treatment for better root development
- Surface insecticides
- Pre-emergent winter weed control
