Policies, Standards and Procedures

The Holy Bible shall govern the Greater Union Missionary Baptist Church, Inc.

We believe that the bible id the inspired Word of God - that it is God's revelation of Himself and of His will to man. That it is absolutely essential as a basis of moral government, and as a definition and final test of moral conduct. That the Bible gives man a correct idea of sin and its penalties, and definite information as to the plan of Salvation, and as to the final testing of the soul. That we are afforded two lines of proof as to the inspiration of the Scriptures, from the Scriptures themselves, and from Scriptures: (2 Timothy 3:16; 2 Peter 1:21); from reason: (Psalm 8:1,3,4; John 4:24).

Church Mission

The mission of Greater Union Missionary Baptist Church is to gather a company of regenerate persons, immersed on profession of faith in Christ; with a vision for eternity and a heart for the Savior, accountability to God and to each other; fully committed to His Word and walking in fellowship with Him; taking every opportunity to soul winning and community transforming fellowship of believers.
