Our office offers comprehensive diagnostic evaluations using a variety of cardiovascular tests that enable us to detect signs of cardiovascular disease. Most of these tests should be performed on a yearly or bi-yearly basis.
Consultations – Cardiovascular system evaluation and diagnostics
Follow-up Visits – Post hospital evaluations, post testing evaluation and follow-up
Regular Stress Test – Cardiovascular exercise stress test on a treadmill
Nuclear Stress Test – A more detailed cardiovascular stress test that includes treadmill exercise and pictures of the heart
Carotid Doppler Study – Ultrasound of the carotid artery
Cardiac Echo Doppler Study – Diagnostic ultrasound of the heart and chambers
For your convenience and comfort, we offer the following tests in our office:
- EGG of EKG-Electrocardiogram
- This test measures the electrical impulses through the heart.
- ICG Non-Invasive Impedance Cardiography (BioZ)
- This test gives information about heart functions.
- Echocardiogram-Ultrasound
- This test measures inside heart chambers, valve function, and pumping mechanism.
- Carotid Ultrasound
- This test shows the carotid arteries (vessels in the neck that provides blood flow to the brain).
- 24-Hour Holter Monitor
- The Holter Monitor records all of the heart beats of a patient for a period of 24 hours.
- Stress Test or Nuclear Stress Test
- A stress test is performed to look for any high grade blockages in the blood vessels that supply blood to the heart and the general cardiovascular conditioning of the patient.
