Burial Services Offered at Baker Funeral Home

Traditional Funeral Service

Family and friends are invited to visit Baker Funeral Home to pay their respects to the deceased and offer condolences to their family. Visitation, sometimes known as a “wake,” provides time for sharing and remembrance and is followed by a funeral ceremony at a place of worship or the funeral home chapel. Following the funeral ceremony, the deceased is transported to the cemetery where he or she is placed in a final resting place.

Graveside Service

Family and friends are invited to visit the funeral home to pay their respects to the deceased and condolences to the deceased’s family. Visitation provides time for sharing and remembrance and is followed by a funeral ceremony at the cemetery. Following the funeral ceremony, the deceased is placed in a final resting place. Graveside services can also be arranged without visitation.

Immediate Burial

Family and friends are invited to the funeral ceremony at the cemetery or mausoleum. Following the funeral ceremony the deceased is placed in a final resting place. If the funeral ceremony can be performed within 30 hours from the time of death, embalming is not required.
