Brake Inspection

You should visually inspect your brakes once at least every six months. Here are some things to look for:
- Check for grooves or obvious problems on the rotor discs.
- Check for uneven wear on the brake pads.
- Check for grooves on the brake shoes.
- Check the calipers, cylinders, hoses and fittings for any sort of fluid leakage.
Here are some things to check for year round:
If your brake pedal goes all the way to the floor board it needs immediate attention. Listen for out of the ordinary noises like:
- Squeaking
- Rhythmic noise
- Constant noise
