Lasik Procedures

LASIK or Laser in Situ Keratomileusis is a procedure that offers many advantages over other forms of laser vision correction because it is performed under the corneal layer. As a result, there is less surface area to heal, less post operative discomfort, less risk of corneal haze, and vision returns more rapidly, usually within one day or so.

Dr. Bogart has performed over 10,000 LASIK procedures! He operates in Columbia, Greenville and the Myrtle Beach areas of South Carolina! 96% of Dr. Bogart's patients achieve 20/20 vision; 3% achieve 20/40 or better. Dr. Bogart has less than 1% of patients that are not 20/40 or better. Typically this patient was unusually far-sighted or had other difficulties prior to surgery. Each person needs to be screened individually to see whether they are a candidate for this procedure.
