Petroleum Storage Tanks

GoodEarth Environmental, Inc. offers a wide range of remediation and other environmental contracting services to a broad base of commercial, industrial, governmental, and environmental clients. The bulk of our work has historically been for the petroleum industry, often in partnership with environmental consulting and engineering firms. We do, however, also offer our services to everyone from the construction / demolition industry, to municipal public works departments, to military and civic agencies, just to name a few.

Petroleum Storage Tank

Cleaning tanks has been part of our business since the beginning. Kenneth B. Cox incorporated American Oil & Industrial Services in 1982, with two employees and a single vacuum truck. In the 24 years since then, we have dealt with all shapes and sizes of underground storage tanks (USTs) and above-ground storage tanks (ASTs).

Removal of tanks, both above- and underground, continues to be a vital part of our business to this day. This is an area in which we have consistently excelled, always performing to a level that exceeds any industry standard. We have removed hundreds of USTs in the past two years alone, and thousands.

In-Place Closure of underground storage tanks is the alternative method of choice when the USTs are buried under or near an obstruction which must not be disturbed. This method of tank closure consists of first cleaning the tank with an inert material such as foam, concrete slurry, or sand.
