Vacuum Truck Services
PCW, or petroleum contact water, is a problem that many of our clients face on a daily basis. Whether it is generated from drilling activity (as in the case of well development water), condensation inside an underground storage tank, or from the bottom of a 500,000-barrel AST at a petroleum terminal, GoodEarth Environmental, Inc. can provide cost-effective solutions. We offer recovery, storage, offsite disposal, and onsite treatment of this recurring residual liquid.
Sludge Pumping
Sludge Pumping is no problem for the GoodEarth Vac Truck Team and our 3,360-gallon Keith Huber DOMINATOR Vacuum Truck. Cleaning of silt ponds, tanks, and oil-water separators; as well as lagoon pumping, tank bottom pumping, line jetting and clearing, hydro excavation for utility clearance, and liquid/sludge waste handling - are all in a day's work for the Dominator. Our Team can also be mobilized at a moment's notice to respond to emergency spills.
Drum Handling
GoodEarth Environmental, Inc. provides cost-effective solutions for removal and disposal of hazardous and non-hazardous drums. We ensure that drill cuttings, well development water, spill cleanup material, sludges and solids will always be handled properly and in an environmentally responsible manner. Unlike the few other companies that handle drums, we do not landfill - we recycle. From the time we pick the drums up at your site for transport back to our facility to the time we recycle them, the drums are stored and handled entirely under our roof.
Equipment and procedures for drum handling:
- Drums are loaded into box-truck with lift gate or trailer and transported to GoodEarth facility.
- Drums are unloaded and stored under roof.
- Liquids are pumped off with our vacuum truck.
- Solids are bulked up and loaded into our dump truck.
- Empty drums are then recycled as-is or crushed for scrap metal.
- Liquids are transported to a wastewater treatment plant.
- Solids are transported to a Sub Title D landfill.
- Manifests for drum disposal are maintained and provided to customers once disposal is complete.
Remediation System Installation, Erosion and Sediment Control
We offer site restoration, drainage improvements, and erosion repair and control services. These include the installation of geotextile fabric, rip rap, and stone drainage improvements; as well as maintenance and repair of eroded slopes, creeks, ditches; and retention- and detention ponds. GoodEarth also offers installation of remediation systems, including trenching, piping, and resurfacing. We ensure that our activities are always consistent with best management practices by making a point each time of verifying that we understand, install, inspect, and maintain all relevant BMPs, while maintaining open lines of communication with designers and inspectors.
