Jay C. Kaltman, DDS extends orthodontic treatment to children, adolescents and adults from our office in Plantation, Florida.
- All children should receive an orthodontic check-up by age seven.
- For young children, treatment may include those in "early Phase 1" who may require functional appliances for orthopedic movement of the jaw.
- For adolescents, treatment would consist of traditional orthodontics as well as maxillofacial orthopedics to adjust the size of the jaw.
- For adults, treatment encompasses the area of conventional and surgical orthodontics as well as the diagnosis and treatment of temporomandibular joint dysfunction (TMJ).

Dr. Kaltman works closely with most of the area's oral surgeons in treating adult dentofacial deformities with orthognathic surgery. He believes in extracting teeth only when all other options have been examined. Dr. Kaltman and our staff maintain an easy going atmosphere for our patients to feel comfortable, relaxed and informed. For Your Safety
To ensure your safety and well-being, we use the most modern sterilization procedures available including the Cox rapid dry heat sterilizer. This enables us to routinely autoclave all stainless steel instruments. Additionally, all of the latest liquid sterilization agents are used for non-metallic instruments.
