About the area

We realize that there are several reasons why people come up into the mountains during the year. From camping and hiking to skiing and football, there is always something to do in the area. Being located near the Blue Ridge Parkway gives us the opportunity to meet several people on vacation looking for a place to stay.

As a family owned and operated motel, we pride ourselves on being able to keep our motel clean and constantly receive complements from people who stay with us.

There are many festivals and events that are held year-round in the area, and our motel is in a central location to all of them. If that's not enough for you, there are gold mines in the area and prospectors are always welcome at Lemon Tree Inn. We're just a short drive away from area sites, and what better way to enjoy the Blue Ridge Mountains than with a trip through them?

People come from miles around to spend time in the fall enjoying the leaves changing color, as well as taking advantage of the many parks and trails to go hiking and camping. After a long day, it's nice to come home to a clean bed and a warm shower.
