The Light Switch is North Miami’s lamp and lighting expert.  Established in 1975, we’ve been in the same location for over 33 years.  We provide retail, wholesale, and export sales of a variety of lamp products.  We also specialize in expert repairs of all types of lighting.  We have a huge selection of lampshades, including hardback and silk shades.  Custom lampshade recovering and special orders are available.

We want to help you find the lighting products to fit your needs and personality!  We offer custom lampshade recovering and special orders.  You can even bring in your own fabric to be used on any lampshade.  Custom lighting including refinishing, plating, rewiring, modifications, and switching European wiring to American wiring are some of our most popular lighting services.  Plating includes, but is not limited to brass, antique brass, bronze, copper, chrome, silver, and more. 

We also specialize in Lucite furniture, including lighting and special designs for dining tables, end tables, coffee tables, and other accessories made to fit your specifications.
