Oconee Metal Recovery is a high volume metal recycling facility located in Newton County, Georgia and owned by the Cloud family. We have large trucks that travel throughout the Southeast, picking up metal scrap and repackaging it at our facilities for delivery to smelting mills by train.

We are primarily a steel processor but also deal in low grade precious metals, Hi-Temp metals and non ferrous. We sell about 30 million lbs of steel per year. Most of this goes to mills and foundries in Alabama, Georgia and South Carolina.
