Below are a few helpful hints to keep your lining looking its best:
- Do not allow caustic, corrosive liquids or any staining products to remain on lining (ex. brake fluid or transmission fluid, etc.), as these will leave a mark.
- Do not use abrasive cleaners on a lining with a UV topcoat.
- Do not use silicone-based protectants, as they make the lining very slippery.
- Keep your lining dry for 24 hours after installation. Moisture may cause some milky discoloration which will disappear when the lining dries out completely.
- Protect your lining's shine and color with Rhino Shine Ultra, a UV-activated bed lining protectant.
- Use a car wash detergent with warm water and a stiff brush to clean your lining. A high-pressure water spray is very effective.
- Use a stiff bristle brush or abrasive pad with a degreaser or detergent to remove stubborn stains.
- Wait 24 hours after installation before loading your lining with heavy cargo or anything that may soil it.
