At River Oaks, we understand and recognize the needs of each individual child. Our program is designed to meet each child’s needs, to foster development of competence in intellectual and social skills, and to provide a safe, nurturing environment. Curriculum is development through extensive assessment, the identification of individual and group goals, and planning of appropriate activities. Our strong commitment to working with parents is evidenced through parent activities and programs.

Program Description:

River Oaks Day Care provides a high quality early education and care program. We are open between the hours of 6:00 AM and 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday, January through December. The center serves children aged 6 weeks to 8 years.

Staff:

Each classroom has a supervising teacher. The owners serve as the director and assistant director and are responsible for the over-all daily management of the classroom program.

Staff qualifications and child/teacher ratios always meet and often exceed local and state requirements. Our staff is always available to discuss any special needs or concerns you may have.

Parent Involvement:

Parent involvement is encouraged. Your child will benefit most from our program if parents and staff communicate regularly in both formal meetings and informal conversation. By working together we can design a program that will respond to the individual needs of your child. You’re welcome to visit the center at any time.
