Learn How We Keep Costs Fair

Shipping charges on the Web can be a mystery. Other sites may ship each item you purchase separately or penalize you if items happen to come from more than one warehouse. But at ParishRetailOutlet.net, we have nothing to hide. Here's how we keep shipping fair:

Base the cost on the total weight of your order
Combine items based on size and shape to reduce as much "dead weight" as possible
Say "thanks" with regular free shipping promotions
Give you up to three options for delivery service on most items unless they're heavy or fragile and require us to choose a certain delivery option for your protection
For heavy and oversized items like furniture, we make an appointment with you to deliver to your driveway

How Shipping Works

We want to keep shipping fair. Many other retailers may ship each item you purchase separately and charge for each shipment. Or "mark up" shipping costs on purpose so they make a profit on them.

That's not us. We're always on the lookout for different ways to handle shipping that help you save.

Note: We have several fulfillment centers that store and ship our products. If you order more than one item, each may be shipped from a separate location, and therefore, may arrive at different times. Your original estimated shipping amount does not change if more than on shipment location is used.

How We Do It

Estimate shipping costs to a "break even" point
Combine items based on size and shape to eliminate as much "dead weight" as possible. (Generally the products that have to be shipped separately are oversized.)
Base your estimated charges on total weight going to a single recipient, not number of items.
Waive any "penalty" if items happen to come from more than one warehouse.
Give you a choice of three shipping services in most cases, lowest rate (consolidated ground), regular ground, or priority.
Require truck delivery to your driveway / curbside on heavy items like furniture.

Where We Ship To

Street addresses only (sorry, no P.O. boxes)
All 50 states, the District of Columbia and to Canada (sorry, no delivery to Puerto Rico, Guam, Mexico or the U.S. Virgin Islands)

When can I expect my order to arrive?

The arrival date-range of each item is determined by adding the minimum of the processing time to the minimum of the shipping time and the maximum of the processing time to the maximum of the shipping time. For instance, if you ordered a catalog that took 1 to 2 business days to process before shipping and you had it sent by Standard shipping (3 to 7 business days), the catalog would arrive in 4 to 9 business days.

Shipping times, below, apply to shipments in the continental United States. For shipments sent by Standard to Alaska, Hawaii and major cities in Canada, add 2 days to the shipping time.

How are my shipping costs determined?

The shipping cost for most items is based on the item's size, weight, shipping method and delivery address. We calculate the estimated shipping cost with our lowest price shipping method and assume all items in your cart are going to one address. If you select a different shipping method or multiple addresses, your actual shipping cost may be higher. You will see your actual shipping cost during checkout.

Protection Insurance Plan

A package is automatically protected against loss or damage up to $100. The charge for each additional $50 insured value or fraction thereof is $35.

What if I'm not shipping to my billing address?

If your order is shipping to an address other than the billing address on your credit card, we may contact you to list the alternate address with your credit card company. This helps prevent fraudulent use of your credit card. To list the alternate address with your credit card company, just call the 800 number on the back of your card and ask the agent to add the address to the notes on your account. Listing the address before you place an order helps us process your order more quickly.

Can I pay for the item when it's delivered to me at my location?

Yes, Collect On Delivery (C.O.D.) is available for packages shipped throughout the 50 states. The service charge is $7.50 per package. C.O.D. service is not available in Canada.
