About Us

The owner and operator of Tan Body’s Tanning Salon has been in the beauty industry since 1994. After the sudden loss of her husband, she left the industry and went into retirement only to be pulled back into the business by a close and dear friend. They began planning their venture together and the idea of Tan Body’s Tanning Salon was born. Unfortunately, before the vision could become a reality, her friend passed, but the dream did go on to become a reality and one year, one day later, Tan Body’s Tanning Salon was opened in 2001.

Ms. Welch is definitely certain of a few things in life and those are the ones she’s most proud of: “my customers are more than customers, they are my friends - and I’m truly blessed because of them.” Today, Tan Body’s Tanning Salon provides customers with the ultimate experience in tanning. Hard work, dedication, trust and faith have all been the guiding factors behind Tan Body’s Tanning Salon and it has made it what it is today – a place to come and relax, while achieving that golden glow.
