Services

We know your pet will feel more at ease with you at home, but sometimes sick patients need services that can only be performed in the hospital. We strive to keep the length of hospital stays as brief as possible.

While in our hospital, your pet will rest comfortably on soft linens in our quiet hospital ward. A veterinary technician will monitor the condition of each patient and provide attentive medical treatment with tender loving care. Your pet's doctor will consult often with you to inform you of your pet's progress and discuss treatment options. Additionally, our healthcare professionals are available to answer any questions or concerns.

Our professional services include

Individualized Health Maintenance Plans

After completing a comprehensive physical examination, your veterinarian will evaluate your pet's age, breed and lifestyle to determine the risk of potential disease. After discussing your pet's needs, we will design a preventative health care and vaccination plan that is best for your pet.

Puppy / Kitten Programs

These programs include nutritional and behavioral counseling at any time, including help with house training, basic commands and proper feeding habits. If at any time you have questions concerning any aspect of life with your new puppy or kitty, ask us; we're here to help. Puppies must start the plan at 8-10 weeks of age and kittens must start the plan at 6-8 weeks of age.

Progressive Dental Care

dental care

The number one health problem diagnosed in 8 out of 10 cats and dogs over 4 years of age is periodontal disease. We provide an extensive dental care program that includes Dental Radiology which allows high quality imagery of your pet's teeth. Many of your pet's dental problems involve the roots and other tissue which are not visible on a regular oral exam. Dental care can add 2-4 years to the life of a pet and truly is a fountain of youth for your pet.

Advanced Parasite Control

Parasitic zoonoses are diseases of animals that can be transmitted to people. Since children often play outside, they are at the most risk for disease transmission.

Microchip Identification

We use the HomeAgain Pet Recovery Service which uses microchipping to permanently identify your pet. This is a safe and simple form of pet identification designed to quickly identify lost pets and reunite them with their owners. Microchipping is effective technology that is safe for your pets. No bigger than a grain of rice, the HomeAgain microchip is made of biocompatible material and is passive under the skin.
