What We Provide:

APA will provide a large dance studio, an instructor and an assistant (if needed) for two hours of fun. These instructors will ensure that your party runs smoothly and everyone has a good time. They will coordinate activities to fill up to one hour and 45 minutes of your two-hour party.

Within that time, the guests will dance to well-known songs like the YMCA and the Electric Slide. They may listen to a fairy tale story customized to the birthday child, and then use props and their imaginations to act out parts of the story. They will have time to play with a large colorful parachute, and they will each have the opportunity to work on an interactive craft.

All the while, parents can enjoy the party from our one-of-a-kind Viewing Lounge or from the party room itself. Mom or Dad can video tape and not be bothered with running the party. As they leave, the guests are left with their very own hand-made craft to take home.

What You Need To Bring:

You are more than welcome to bring with you any decorations you would like to use; a cake, food, drinks, party bags and extra costumes for the guests.

We also provide three card tables and twelve chairs, so tablecloths tend to be a good decoration. Typically, we use the card tables together for the craft and eating table, so that makes one 12-foot-long table and one round table for cake and presents.

Please come by ahead of time to see what the room looks like and how you might want to decorate. You are allowed in the room 30 minutes before the party to decorate and set up, and you are responsible for taking down any decorations that you bring. Also, if you do bring food, we ask that you try to be careful, as the floor is used for actual dance classes throughout the week, and safety is our number-one priority.
